Within five days of the robbery, the police arrested Arif Suleman and Sunil More, who allegedly barged into Café Churchill and looted Rs 26,000 after threatening the manager at knifepoint.

Himanshu Roy, joint commissioner of police (law and order), said the two had surveyed the restaurant before robbing it. “More, who works in the housekeeping department of Radio Club, had gone to the Café as a customer inspected the place,” said Roy.

Sulemana and More have confessed to the crime and the police have recovered Rs 12,000 and a weapon from the duo.
