The Mumbai Crime branch is likely to file a charge sheet against the 53 accused in the August 11 Azad Maidan violence case on Friday.

The crime branch, on Thursday, issued summons to 32 accused who are out on bail, to appear before the magistrate court.
Two youths were killed and 52, including 44 policemen, were injured when a rally called to protest against the alleged atrocities on Muslims in Assam and Myanmar turned violent.
Lawyer Khalid Azmi said, "The accused who are out on bail have been issued summons. They will have to remain present before the court on Friday."
The crime branch has so far arrested 63 persons in the case, of which five have been discharged for lack of evidence. While 32 have been granted bail, the rest are in the jail.
