The proprietor of a software company, in his complaint, alleged that they were duped of Rs 3 crore between July 16 and September 3. He alleged that his firm had given some software to the construction firm. He received a cheque of Rs 50 lakh as an initial payment, which they encashed. Later, the construction firm issued seven post-dated cheques of Rs 3.03 crore.

However, when they tried encashing, they realised the payment had been stopped.
