MUMBAI: CM Devendra Fadnavis, pushing for the long-pending uniform power tariff for the city, asked the energy department on Thursday to expedite the issue and present a proposal soon. Fadnavis held a review meeting with the department’s officials on Thursday, when he asked the department to draft a proposal on the issue. The department has mulled a uniform tariff for the city’s power consumers. On similar lines, Fadnavis has asked the department to consider having uniform tariff for consumers who use less than 100 units of power each month.
