Congress is likely to induct at least six new faces in the state cabinet, when the expansion happens on Friday.

According to sources, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan has got an approval for the inclusion of deputy speaker of assembly Madhukar Chavan; Hussain Dalwai, member of the upper house; Sanjay Deotale, Vinayak Nimhan, and DP Sawant into the cabinet. Deotale, Nimhan and Sawant will be ministers of state (MoS) while others will get the cabinet rank. Also, President Pratibha Patil's son, Rajendra Shekhawat, and Satej Patil might be inducted as MoS.
Subhash Zanak, Ranjit Kamble, Vijay Wadettiwar and Ramesh Bagwe may get drop-ped from the previous cabinet.
The Congress is likely fill all its 22 ministerial berths. "The list was finalised after consulting everyone. Swearing in will happen on Friday," said Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan.
