Seeking extension of his custody, special public prosecutor in the case, Raja Thakare, told the court that Jundal was the main accused in the case and they now wanted to trace the absconding accused. The court extended Jundal’s custody.

After the court order, Jundal told the court that he wanted to meet his parents. The special judge rejected Jundal’s plea and observed, “Not this time. We will see next time.”
