Cracks develop on plaster of new Lalbaug flyover

A portion of the plaster on the new flyover at Lalbaug developed cracks on Friday following which the local fire brigade and disaster control were informed around 11pm.

A portion of the plaster on the new flyover at Lalbaug developed cracks on Friday following which the local fire brigade and disaster control were informed around 11pm.

The disaster control team reached the spot and brought down the portion of the plaster that had developed the cracks.

An official from the fire brigade control room said, “The step was taken in order to ensure no accident was caused because of the cracked portion of plaster.”

Both the police control room of the fire brigade and the disaster control confirmed there were casualties because of the loose plaster. At the time of going to press, the authorities were still at the spot.
