The second list is the best indicator of actual cut-offs because students tend to apply in multiple colleges in the first round.

By the second round, most have already taken admission in their preferred college.

But the second list cut-offs are still very high at 90 per cent or a little below in coveted colleges.

“Our BCom seats are filled with in-house students. And we have very few open category seats left for Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS) course which has a cut-off of 88 per cent,” said Sangita Kher, vice-principal, NM College.

Their first list cut-off was 90 per cent. For BMS, there are 16 seats left for commerce students and five for science students.

The most sought after city colleges are not even sure about bringing out a third list, especially for self-financing courses such as BMS and Bachelor in Mass Media (BMM), because there are very few seats left.

At St Xavier’s College there was no second list for the BMM course.

The arts cut-off was still 92 per cent at the south Mumbai college, a mere 0.5 per cent below the first list. And a third list seems unlikely.

Students can pay their fees on June 21 and 22.

The third and final degrees college admission list will be declared on June 22 evening.
