At around 11.30 am on Wednesday, a fire broke out in a dyeing unit at Chauthani compound, Narpoli.
Clothes and machinery worth crores of rupees were gutted but nobody was injured in the process.

Police Sub Inspector A.R. Patil, of Narpoli police station said: “The exact case of the fire is not yet known. Fire brigades from Kalyan, Thane and Bhiwandi corporations took five hours to control the fire.”
