Hard disc with data on Adarsh missing

This is the third piece, of what could eventually become evidence in the case, that has gone missing.

The CBI, while seeking further remand of three Mantralaya clerks, Gurudatt Wajpe, desk officer Urban Development Department-12, NN Narvekar, assistant town planner, UDD-11 and Waman Rawool, the then clerk to principal secretary, UDD, informed the court about the missing hard disc.

The court extended the remand of all three accused. The CBI, in its remand application, said, “The accused had identified nine computers at the Mantralaya which had been used for preparing various notings/correspondence relating to the matter. The hard discs, required for forensic analysis, were recovered in the presence of panch witnesses. Another computer was identified by the concerned clerk in Mantralaya but had no hard disc.”
