There is a sense of satisfaction that our hard work paid off.

Yes. The heinous nature of the crime made us pursue the harshest possible punishment.

What would be your next step on David Headley, who allegedly surveyed the 26/11 attack sites?
We are awaiting a communication from the Centre. Once we procure the evidence through a letter rogatory, we will decide on a course of action.

Did you speak with your team after the judgement?
Yes, I did. We are happy, of course, as we all put in tremendous effort and were hoping for a positive outcome. We have also expressed our gratitude to Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam.

What kind of response did you get from the state government?
They patted our backs for putting in the work that ensured the conviction and the death sentence.
