Issues with Congress have been resolved: Pawar

NCP chief Sharad Pawar, whose fight with the Congress ended three days ago, broke his silence on the issue on Saturday, stating that issues pertaining to dialogue between coalition partners, both at the Centre and state, had been worked out and all is forgotten now.

Speaking to media on the issues he had with the Congress-led UPA, Pawar initially said, “It was not an issue for the media. It was a matter between me and the prime minister. We have resolved it and I do not want to comment on it.”

Pawar, however, added, “The decision-making process should be through dialogue. In a coalition government, political parties have their own policies and programmes. However, all have to work in the larger interest of the country.”
