‘Jigna Vora did not apply for leave before leaving city’

Contradicting the claims of scribe Jigna Vora, accused in the J Dey murder case, a staff member of the administration department of the newspaper, where she worked before arrest, has stated before the magistrate that she never made any formal application before taking leave.

Contradicting the claims of scribe Jigna Vora, accused in the J Dey murder case, a staff member of the administration department of the newspaper, where she worked before arrest, has stated before the magistrate that she never made any formal application before taking leave.

Vora has so far claimed that she had informed her superior, the resident editor of the paper, before going on leave. She was on leave for almost 12 days and had gone to Sikkim and Darjeeling from June 9 to June 18.
