The first question celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor asked the crowd of food lovers was, “How many of you do not keep your recipes a secret?”
Only one hand went up. Kapoor, with a wry smile on his face, went to reveal some of his favourite and exclusive recipes and cooking techniques at his workshop called ‘Cooking with Sanjeev Kapoor’ as part of the Hindustan Times Kala Ghoda Arts Festival.
On the menu were lip-smacking delicacies such as Cheese Papad, chocolate cake and Kebabs that taste like as Kapoor put it, “Makki di roti and sarson da saag”.
Freddie Braganza, a food lover from Versova, who attended the session said, “This is the first time I have heard Kapoor speak. I have never watched any of his television shows. But I was impressed. The event was very informative and even a bad cook like me will be able to make edible dishes with Kapoor’s recipes.”
Aruna Fernandes, a housewife from Colaba, who regularly watches Kapoor’s shows said, “My favourite are his kebab recipes. I try so many of his dishes and they always turn out to be delicious.”
