Malaria death

A 32-year-old woman died of malaria at a civic hospital on Tuesday. The city also recorded 101 cases of gastroenteritis, 79 cases of malaria, two cases of dengue and over 200 cases of fever on Thursday.

The spurt in gastroenteritis cases has alarmed the BMC. Many cases were Byculla as construction workers from a particular site drink tanker water,” said Dr G T Ambe, executive health officer of the BMC.
