The can fell, spilling the water. Prakash Kevat, a driver, had just filled the water in the can and was furious,” said an officer from the Dadar police, requesting anonymity.
“Kevat had a heated argument with Kosle, and started beating him up. Kosle’s friends were scared and did not intervene. By the time Kevat was done with Kosle, the latter was unconscious”, said police sub inspector M Varhadi.
His friends took Kosle to KEM Hospital, but the doctors declared him dead.
The friends then approached the Dadar police, who arrested Kevat from his shanty in Dadar.
