Model accuses agent of molestation, cheating

Sachdeva, in her complaint, has told the police that Remedios promised her roles in television shows for which she paid him Rs 4 lakh as assignment fees.

According to Sachdeva, Remedios claimed to have several contacts in the film industry and promised that he would get her into the television reality show Bigg Boss.

“I fell for his claims thinking he would help me get big offers and so paid him his fees. He also borrowed Rs 50,000 from me claiming that his mother was unwell. But, when I asked him to pay back the money, he refused. Later, he gave me a cheque that bounced after which I approached the police,” said Sachdeva.

The actor further alleged that Remedios asked her to ‘compromise’ for getting roles. “I was harassed by him mentally and financially,” added Sachdeva, who claimed that Remedios has been calling her late at night since the past two months and insisting that they get into a relationship.

Suresh Nalavade, senior inspector at the Versova police station, confirmed that a case had been registered against Remedios. “We are investigating the matter,” said Nalavade.
