The sessions court in Mumbai on Saturday granted a cash bail to Anil Mishra, who allegedly breached the security of PM Narendra Modi by appearing on dais during the swearing-in ceremony of Devendra Fadnavis cabinet.

Mishra was arrested by the Marine Drive police on November 7.
Mishra, who was not present in the court, was granted provisional cash bail of Rs 15,000. “As per the procedure, I forwarded the application for bail and it was cleared in 15 minutes,” said his lawyer Vinod Chate.
Mishra had ventured on the podium where all the VVIPs were seated during the oath taking ceremony of the newly formed Maharashtra government.
According to police, Mishra had a basic entry-pass bearing number 3030 (VIP-B), however he managed to reach the stage and even clicked pictures with few of the ministers.
