A Class 11 student was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly beating a classmate to death for misbehaving with his mother. HT reports.

Police have also arrested two accomplices of the 17-year-old accused, who took 11 friends with him to attack Ansh Agarwal, 16. Around 10.45pm on Tuesday, the accused and his friends allegedly attacked Agarwal with iron rods in Andheri.

Earlier in the day, Agarwal had gone to the house of the accused to confront him over an objectionable SMS the latter had allegedly sent to his friend a month ago. The accused was not at home and Agarwal had allegedly spoken rudely to his mother.
