NCP MLA from the city Basheer Patel has decided to contest the October 13 Assembly elections as a candidate of the Third Front.
“Congress was not willing to leave the Mumbadevi seat for me. My supporters were insisting that I contest the elections as a Third Front candidate and I have decided to honour their wishes,” Patel said.

He would be filing his nomination from Mumbadevi constituency on Thursday.
