No evidence against tutor

The medical report of the seven students who claim they were sexually exploited by their 59-year-old coaching class tutor at Dadar failed to throw up any incriminating evidence against him, the police said.

The medical report of the seven students who claim they were sexually exploited by their 59-year-old coaching class tutor at Dadar failed to throw up any incriminating evidence against him, the police said.

Senior police inspector Suresh Unawane said, “ We could not find evidence against the tutor Feroz Kartak based on the medical tests conducted by the Nagpada police hospital. However, we suspect this is because the tests were conducted days after the exploitation took place.”

An officer from Shivaji Park police station, on condition of anonymity, said, “ Two more boys from Kartak’s coaching classes have registered complaints of sexual exploitation against him.”

On December 26, parents of seven students had approached the Shivaji Park police station alleging that Kartak had been sexually exploiting their children since few months. The police had then arrested Kartak.
