The Borivli police, on Wednesday, booked Manish Khanolkar, 24, for raping the 14-year-old Charkop girl who he and his friend Kalpesh Parmar allegedly abducted and held hostage for over a month.
Khanolkar had earlier been booked for kidnapping and illegal confinement. The additional cha-rges came after the victim recorded her statement.
“Khanolkar has been booked for rape and Parmar has been arrested for kidnapping and illegal confinement,” said Mahesh Patil, DCP (zone 11).
