The police have started quizzing all local customers of Swastik Cable Net Com who were visited on June 6 by the arrested 19-year-old.

The eight-year-old girl, who was allegedly killed by the youngster, went missing on June 6; her decomposed body was found in an unoccupied shanty in the area on June 19.

One of the customers being questioned is a police constable.

Police sources said investigators seized all the books of records and computers that belong to the cable operator.

The records have revealed that the 19-year-old was given list of 90 customers from whom he had to collect their monthly cable and Internet fee on June 6, which was a Sunday. Collection work is usually done on a Sunday as most customers are available at home.

“He visited the home of a police constable who lives on Mother Dairy Road in Nehru Nagar that Sunday evening and spent about 30 minutes there to correct a cable fault,” the source said.

The cable company’s records show that the accused handed over the collected cash and cheques worth more than Rs 10,000 to his office around 9 pm.

The police have recovered records of the Internet chat that the accused had with one of his friends after reaching office.

Police officials investigating the case also said the accused had a habit of watching porn films, including child pornography, and had several clippings on his mobile phone.
