Sunil Choudhari, president, Ambernath municipal council, said: “I wrote a letter to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) asking them to clear the dues last week itself. Still, no action has been taken.”
The action was taken after sending a reminder to the MMRDA, said a Mahadiscom officer. The MMRDA authorities remained unavailable for comment.
