Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray secured bail from a Bhadgaon court in Jalgaon district in three cases pertaining to attacks on north Indians in October 2008.

Violent incidents had occurred in Jalgaon following Thackeray's arrest in Ratnagiri last year.
Various cases against Raj Thackeray had been filed in Jalgaon district.
The Bhadgaon court had subsequently sent summons for Thackeray to be present in court for the cases filed against him.
Thackeray finally made an appearance after the court sent him a non-bailable summon.
Thackeray was flanked by three of his MLAs, Vasant Gite, Harshavardhan Jadhav and Nitin Sardesai along with other supporters when he entered the court premises.
Thackeray was let off on a Rs 10,000 bail by Judge Bhushan Kshirsagar who also set January 30 as the next date of hearing.
