Sanjay Raut, Sena MP and spokesperson, said Hazare should first clean up his village, Ralegaon Siddhi. “If Anna wants to fight corruption, he should start with Ralegaon Siddhi — the Gangotri [hub] of corruption, and then Mantrayala,” said Raut, adding that fasts are not going to end corruption.

Raut suggested that Hazare form a political party and contest the next polls. “If Hazare has the support of the people, he should form a political party, contest the elections and form his own government. Then he can bring not one but 10 Lokpals to tackle corruption,” Raut said.

“Some NGOs are misusing Anna’s name to make money,” he alleged.
