Speeding bus injures biker

A 40-year-old biker was seriously injured in Dadar after being hit by a speeding BEST bus, on Monday.

K. Bhagat, the driver of the bus, has been arrested.

The incident happened near Gopinath Chowk area in Dadar when the victim Milind Jadhav (40), a government employee, was returning home to Parel.

The witnesses said that the bike skidded due to the impact of the collision and Jadhav came under the bus but the driver managed to stop the bus.

The locals rushed Jadhav ,who was bleeding, to a nearby hospital. Police said that the victim was being treated and was under observation.

“We are investigating whose fault it was,” said senior police inspector Ashok Unde of Dadar police station.
