The 53-year-old, who will have to spend three-and-half years in jail, broke down repeatedly as he addressed the media with sister Priya Dutt, a Congress MP, by his side. Press Council of India chairman Markandey Katju, however, said he would ago ahead and seek presidential pardon for Dutt and Zaibunnisa, another convict in the case.
