A judicial commission which is probing the Adarsh housing scam has been granted a three-month extension. The commission will work till the end of this year and then submit its final report.

The commission headed by justice (retired) JA Patil and P Subrahmanyam was set up more a year-and-a-half ago. It got its sixth extension for three months early this year. The state granted yet another three months on Monday though the commission had asked for a six-month extension. Now the panel will work till December 31, 2012.
The commission has already submitted an interim report on ownership of the land.
