Samata Nagar police on Friday arrested two persons in connection with the murder of 28-year-old son of an assistant sub-inspector (ASI). According to the police, the duo had a fight with the deceased a year ago, following which they decided to take revenge.

The police said that they arrested two brothers, Chetan Yadav, 22, and Swapnil Yadav, 25, in connection with the murder of Sudhakar Kamble. The officials stated that the accused are sons of a retired assistant police inspector and live in the same housing society as Kamble. The investigation revealed that the duo had an argument with Sudhakar over some issues about a girl.
Nanasaheb Kamble, senior inspector of Samata Nagar police station said, “The duo and the deceased ended up assaulting each other after the argument. Hence, on Wednesday, the accused decided to take revenge on Sudhakar. The deceased left home early as it was his birthday on Wednesday and did not return till late. He was later found dead.”
