The girl, who was repeatedly raped at her house in Divagaon over three months, is pregnant.

Senior Police Inspector Nasser Pathan said: “The victim’s parents are vegetable vendors. Mahendra Patel (20) and Rajiv Patel (30), who were known to the family as they hailed from the same village in Bihar, would rape the girl at her house when her parents were at work.” They even threatened the girl to not tell anything to her parents.

“The parents found out the truth when the girl got pregnant,” Pathan said.

The parents filed a complaint and the police arrested Mahendra. Rajiv is at large.
