The Mumbai university officials acted swiftly to prevent another fiasco after the question paper for the final year Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) exam, scheduled for Wednesday, leaked. Acting on a tip-off, officials replaced the question paper before the exam began at 3pm.

The officials compared the code of the ‘leaked’ paper and the actual paper and found it to be same. “Prima facie there was some match,” said Naresh Chandra, the university’s pro-vice chancellor.
A three-member committee headed by ST Gadade, former dean of the commerce faculty and principal of CKT College in Panvel, has been appointed to identify the source of the leak.
Last month, the marketing and human resource management paper for final year BCom students had leaked, resulting in a re-exam.
