Tabrez Sayekar died of three bullets that caused injuries to the liver, heart, kidney and lungs, the post-mortem report has revealed.

It was performed around 4pm on Tuesday by a panel of five doctors and one Muslim lady doctor. The post-mortem was conducted in-camera as per the demand of Sayekar's family.

“The post mortem has been conducted in the most transparent manner. For the first time, we have allowed a doctor and a videographer from the relative’s side to be along with our doctors,” said MB Gaikwad, district collector.

The family wanted a member of the state minorities commission to be present during, but their demand was rejected.
