The Kalyan resident, who suffered multiple fractures on his right leg and left hand in the blast, has undergone three major surgeries in the last one year. However, he is unable to hold things with his right hand as he has lost mobility in two fingers. His vision too, has turned ‘foggy’ after the blast and he needs another surgery to correct this.

Khetu, who was looking to get married shortly before the blasts, is now worried he may not find a partner.

“I cannot pick up heavy objects anymore. Weeks before the blasts, I had gone to my village to fix my wedding. But how will marry me with my injuries?” asked Khetu.

Khetu, who makes imitation jewellery, had gone to the collect an order at Zaveri Bazaar when the blast occurred.
