Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the introduction of digital tablets pre-loaded with educational curriculum for schools, as part of the Digital India mission.

Thackeray’s Yuva Sena has distributed nearly 1,000 tabs in city civic schools. “All Maharashtra syllabus textbooks have been incorporated in the tablet in Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi. The PM liked the tablet and has kept one with himself,” Aaditya told media persons.
The two also discussed the Shiv Sena-ruled BMC’s virtual classrooms project, where children are taught through tele-conferencing. Sena MPs Anil Desai, Rahul Shewale and Arvind Sawant were part of the delegation.
Modi describe these initiatives as “great efforts” on Twitter. “They spoke to me about the initiatives of the Yuva Sena for the education sector. It is a great effort,” the PM wrote.
Speculations
MNS chief Raj Thackeray’s presence at a function in Indore, hosted by spiritual preacher Bhaiyyu Maharaj, has set off speculations. The preacher is close to both Raj and his cousin and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav. Many feel the Maharaj may broker an alliance between the two brothers, ahead of the BMC polls in 2017, or even the KDMC polls later this year
