We’ve grown up watching them and perhaps still sit glued to the TV every year for a glimpse, but there’s no dying down of the excitement around tableaus, or jhankis, at the Republic Day Parade every year. This year, in addition to the official ones that walk Rajpath during the annual ceremony, there’s also another set of jhankis to look out for — the Fever 104FM audio jhankis.

In a fun twist and as a quirky initiative themed around January 26, the team at the radio station has a ‘jhanki quiz’ playing on air. Called ‘Fever ki jhaanki’, the special series has sonic tableaus of the country’s famous and infamous personalities who’ve been in news for all the right or the wrong reasons this year. The cues, irreverent and ambient in the sound of claps and background bands and running commentary, will make you laugh and roll, and ring a bell. And, win big prizes too, if you can guess the personality right, by texting your answer to 54242.

“We are generating content that is in the flavour of Republic Day, yet entertaining and over the edge. This is an innovation that we have done for the 2nd time and are seeing a huge response from the listeners.
