Sir Elton John’s tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales — ‘Candle in the Wind,’ has topped the chart of the biggest-selling UK singles of the last 60 years.
The 1997 release sold 4.9 million copies — over a million more than the second placed track, Band Aid’s ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’ the BBC reported.
The Official Charts Company rundown features 123 records that have sold more than 1 million copies.
