This year seems to have started off on a good note for Indian music listeners. After David Guetta, one of the world’s top DJs, who performed in multiple cities last month, electronic musician and record producer Fatboy Slim is scheduled to play full-fledged concerts in the country starting May 4.

A pioneer of the ‘big beat’ genre, the English artist, whose real name is Norman Quentin Cook, has composed chart-topping numbers such as Weapon of choice…, Praise you…, Right here right now… and The Rockafeller skank….

Fatboy Slim has confirmed the news too, saying, “This is going to be my very first time in India. It will be amazing to experience the country’s culture and put on an energetic show that will give audiences a feeling they have never experienced before.”
