Strumming the right tunes while living it up, various bands from India have the audiences wanting more. And being on the go is a part of their routine, thanks to back-to-back concerts.

But when they are not shunting from one stage to the other, their resting spots are airport lounges, and bus rides with a backpack doubling up as a pillow.

"The travel gets you all tired. We have back to back shows in Delhi and we love to do it. Just taking a flight, going for sound check, performing, hitting the road to travel to another place and so on tends to take a toll. But you can never get tired of playing music," says singer Rahul Ram.Parikrama

Exciting and fun is how the band’s bassist, Gaurav Balani, describes the aspect of travel.

"I like travelling but I also like to maintain a balance. Sometimes when we visit a place for a gig, we do not really get a chance to see it. We just reach, perform and return," he says.

Talking about how sometimes excessive travelling can lead to fatigue, singer Raghu Dixit says, "One tends to get fatigued after travelling so much and performing back-to-back gigs. We did over 140 shows last year and it took a toll on us. Sometimes you need a break, a retreat to relax and come back to your original self."

"Travelling for music gigs are some exulting moments of my life. There are times when it becomes adventurous. A lot of things happen when you are travelling. But, yes, there is always a need to bring the balance back," says the man behind this EDM act.
