There’s great news for Hip-hop fans in the Capital. DJ Mia, who has plays music with international sensation Black Eyed Peas, will spin for party lovers on New Year’s eve. And Mia is excited. “This will actually be my second time in India. The first time was in December ‘08, when I was introduced to house music and trance as well...ever since I was
hooked and I can honestly say that a few mixes that I made this year were inspired by that first,” she says.

She adds that she got a chance to travel to New Delhi, Mumbai and Goa as well. “It was definitely a life changing experience for me. I am looking forward to playing in New Delhi on New Year’s eve, and I’m so
excited,” says Mia.

About her music, she says, “I mix together pop, rock to hiphop to my own remixes of house, electro, electro house to psychedelic, progressive house and even trance with my own style.”

Bringing the musician to the capital is actor Arjun Rampal. The DJ will be performing at Rampal’s lounge LAP on December 31. Talking to HT City he says, “Mia is here to rock the party. She is really good. I wanted her to play at LAP because she understands the pulse of the people. And she strikes a perfect balance between commercial and non-commercial music.”
