Singer Gippy Grewal is busy juggling his acting and singing commitments. He recently released a slew of singles, and is also working on his next film, a biopic based on Subedar Joginder Singh’s life.

Asked how he manages to handle both the commitments easily, he says, “Kisi tarah balance kar rahe hain (I am doing it somehow)! I don’t just have to act in my Punjabi films, but sing the songs in them too. People know my voice now, so they feel weird if some other singer comes and sings songs which I have to lip sync.”

“But not just because of that — I love singing. Khushi hoti hai jab fans excited ho jaate hain ki ‘Paaji ka gaana aane wala hai’ (You feel excited when your fans look forward to your songs). I had a dance number for last year’s new year, people told me that they enjoyed it a lot. Toh samay nikaal ke kaam karte rehte hain (So, I keep taking out time to work for my fans),” adds the 35-year old.
