US Prez Obama has written a letter to the Jackson family condoling MJ's sudden tragic death.

President Obama, instead of making an public statement on Jackson's demise, has written to the family.

Obama's adviser David Axelrod, on the NBC program "Meet the Press" said, Obama felt that was the appropriate way to go.

"Obama believes Jackson was 'an important and magnificent performer' who made an undeniable impact on music and entertainment," Axelrod added.
