Bollywood singer

says it’s important to make it easier for musicians from both, India and Pakistan, to perform across the border.
With some Pakistani artists such as
, Atif Aslam, and Raahat Fateh Ali Khan facing trouble with their Indian performances in the past, and some Indian singers such as Lata Mangeshkar and Palash Sen suffering the same fate in Pakistan, Sanu says, "It’s all a question of fixing the feeling of professional jealousy."
The 54-year-old adds that Bollywood is very accepting when it comes to Pakistani artists.
"Our music industry is very open-minded and warm at heart; we have space for every artist. Also, each song has its own destiny. A singer will sing a song irrespective of the fact that he belongs to India or Pakistan, or any other country for that matter. So, I don’t think there should be an issue with nationality."
