There has been a surge of recreations of old numbers like Dheere Dheere, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, Aise Na Mujhe Tum Dekho and Khoya Khoya Chand. Is Bollywood running out of fresh ideas for music?

The 32-year-old singer says movies are recreating old songs and using them in films just to play safe.

“Movies are just revamping old songs and playing it safe. More risks can change the scenario for the better rather than remaining stagnant,” he added.
