Singer-music composer Shankar Mahadevan’s son Siddharth, 19, has composed a song for filmmaker Deepa Mehta’s upcoming flick based on Salman Rushdie’s book, Midnight’s Children.

Singer-music composer Shankar Mahadevan’s son Siddharth, 19, has composed a song for filmmaker Deepa Mehta’s upcoming flick based on Salman Rushdie’s book, Midnight’s Children. “The song is a combination of three national anthems. Director Deepa Mehta approached us from Toronto via email and we still interact through the same medium. It was a good experience,” he said.
