MEERUT: The police on Saturday arrested a lawyer for killing a former inspector who had publicly insulted his father during his posting in Bijnore 17 years ago. Monu Gurjar and his friend Vipin were arrested from Tejgarhi crossing for killing Dayaram while he was on a morning walk with his friends on August 4. “The accused is a lawyer by profession and appears to be a psychopath who waited for 17 years to avenge his father’s insult,” said SHO, Medical police station, Ravindra Kumar Vashishtha.
