MUZAFFARNAGAR: Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday hit out at BJP, accusing it of trying to divide the society on communal lines when the Samajwadi Party was trying to fast-track the state’s development. Yadav said, “They (BJP) only talk about the law and order situation and communal issues.” He was addressing a public meeting at Naseerpur village in Muzaffarnagar district, which was rocked by riots that claimed 60 lives and displaced 50,000 people in 2013.
