
Bail plea of main accused in Gaya road rage rejected

GAYA: A local court here on Saturday turned down the bail petition of Teni Yadav, an accused in the murder of teenager Aditya Sachdeva. Teni was accompanying his cousin Rocky Yadav when he allegedly shot dead Aditya near the Gaya police lines on May 7. Defence counsel Qaisar Sarfuddin pleaded Teni’s innocence but the prosecution lawyer opposed the bail petition, claiming there were “hard evidences” against him. After hearing both parties, additional district judge Sachidanand Singh rejected the bail petition.
