PATNA: Political rivalry between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Nitish Kumar appeared to have cast a long shadow on celebrations in Bihar as even though union ministers from Bihar fanned out across to the state to lead thousands in performing yogic exercises, Bihar ministers and ruling ‘grand alliance’ functionaries stayed away and no programme was organised either in Patna or at any of the district headquarters across the state.
