ALLAHABAD: The Allahabad high court has directed principal secretary (home) and DGP to create two separate wings of police in UP, one for maintaining law and order, while the other for case investigation. The court directed that both officers should file an action taken report by the next hearing on September 16. If it isn’t filed, both officers must appear before the court, it said.
